Clinics run on several days of the week. The service is open to anyone who has a Foot Health problem. Priority is given to patients with High Risk Podiatric conditions and those with a High Podiatric need.

Nail cutting is not provided unless nail conditions are such that they cannot be dealt with in the normal way at home.

Application forms for a Podiatry Assessment are available from reception or you may be referred by your G.P., or other Health professional. Following receipt of your application an assessment appointment will be made and subject to your condition a treatment plan may be established, or you may be given advice and be discharged from the service. Some specialist treatments will require you to attend a follow-up appointment at a location other than Malmesbury P.C.C.

The Podiatry Administration office handles all enquiries and is based at Chippenham Community Hospital.

GP Registrars

Read more about GP Registrars

In addition to providing general medical services the practice also undertakes continuing education and training of GP registrars and other health care professionals working at the practice. GP registrars are fully qualified doctors who have chosen general practice as a career, and who will be gaining valuable experience by being based at our practice.

They provide care of the same standard provided by the other doctors. Occasionally GP registrars are required to video record their consultations-however patients full approval will be sought beforehand and patients should not feel obliged to agree if they do not wish their visit to be recorded.
